Should you choose to spend a full day in Tivoli, our trusted driver and guide will collect you from your hotel and whisk you away to this beautiful town where we will visit both Villa D’Este and Hadrian’s Villa. Villa D’Este is a sumptuous Renaissance Villa that was once a Benedictine convent. Inside you will find vibrant frescoes and paintings, but the main attraction is the incredible garden with its graceful combination of 100 fountains, pavilions and artificial caves. Hadrian’s Villa is also one of the most remarkable and extravagant in the area, built for Emperor Hadrian and modeled after the places in the Mediterranean that had left an imprint on him during his lifetime. Half day Tivoli excursions include a visit to one villa plus lunch. 

Alternatively, you may choose to split your day between Tivoli and charming Castelli Romani. Our licensed guide will escort you to one site in Tivoli then along the scenic drive to the town of Frascati, widely known for their centuries-old production of white wine and gastronomic tradition, as well as the quiet lovely village of Castel Gandolfo, on the lake built around the Papal summer residence.
