Capri is one of the most idyllic destinations in Italy and is the epitome of La Dolce Vita! This beautiful island getaway is a perfect place for a calm and relaxing full day excursion. Once you arrive, your local expert and guide will meet you at the port of the island.
Often referred to as the “pearl of the Mediterranean,” Capri is an enchanting island in the gulf of Naples surrounded by bright emerald and turquoise sea. You will disembark in Marina Grande, and your local expert will lead you on the funicular to “La Piazzetta,” the heart of the island. Strolling along winding roads, you will admire magnificent garden terraces filled with flowers, olive groves and lemon trees. We will lunch in the secluded village of Anacapri, at 280 meters above sea level where you can continue by foot to reach the most panoramic point of the island, Monte Solaro, with spectacular views of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. Be sure to sip on one of their famous lemon granitas, buy a handmade pair of ‘Jackie Onassis’ sandles — Annie will tell you where to go for a custom pair– and enjoy your sensational full day in paradise.
The coastlines are dotted with many caves, the most famous is the “Blue Grotto” where sunlight passes through an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater creating a blue reflection that illuminates the cavern. If you would like to add a customized visit to the “Blue Grotto” to your itinerary, we will have a private boat and guide show you the caves and pass under the famous Faraglioni rocks. You can even enjoy a swim off the boat to get a feel for the perfect crystal blue water.
In order to reach the island of Capri, you must take a jet or hydrafoil boat there from your surrounding city. The journey takes between 30 minutes to an hour and your guide will meet you at the port of the island to begin your charming day in paradise.
