Our Chianti tour is a wonderful excursion from Florence. Embark on a proper Tuscan experience in the countryside and sample the famous wine and unmatched gastronomic tradition here.

Like Italian food, Italian wines can taste vastly different from region to region and where better to discover this than one of our most famous wine regions!

Your English-speaking driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a picturesque ride to the heart of Chianti. Here, you will begin the day with a coffee and soak in the charm of the medieval town Greve, before heading out into the breathtaking countryside for your first wine tasting. Believe it or not, the views here are just as memorable as the vino! You will have the opportunity to walk around the vineyards and sample oils made from the olives grown there as well. 

Next, because most traditional Tuscan wines beg to be enjoyed alongside food, the tour will continue with an exquisite lunch highlighting seasonal, local specialties. The tour will conclude with one final wine tasting before heading back to Florence.

We will visit small, family-run vineyards where you will really begin to feel the pulse of winemaking in Italy, however as always, tours will be customized, so if you have a preferred producer or other ideas in mind, please let us know.
