In our classic version of this tour, we will begin at Rome’s most recognizable monument: The Colosseum! This massive elliptical amphitheatre housed wild beast fights and gladiator games for crowds of up to fifty thousand. The walk continues into the powerful open space of the Roman Forum where you’ll wander amongst the triumphal arches, temples and remains that represent what’s left of the immense history of Imperial Rome. 

From here, you have the option to extend the tour to four hours and include the tri-level Basilica di San Clemente showcasing centuries of history and art, or Palatine Hill, the centermost and oldest standing of the 7 hills of Rome where the Emperor and wealthy patrician families lived during the times of Caput Mundi.
